Fake Miracle Pastor Arrested in Lokoja

FAKE pastors and prophets, fond of duping people in the name of performing miracles during revival programmes, have been arrested by the Kogi State police command.

Those paraded before newsmen were Bishop Bamidele Abraham of Eagle Kingdom Church, Lokoja; Pastor Chucks Ingalis Kelvin, Pastor Chinedu Okosisi, Pastor Samson Prince, Osita Chuckwu, Samuel Ike and Nnenanaya Anthony Ikechukwu, all from Port Harcourt in Rivers State.

The state Commissioner of Police, Muhammed Kastina, while parading the suspects before newsmen, said the seven persons were arrested while conducting ‘deliverance’ for people during a revival organised by one of them in Lokoja.

The General Overseer of the Mountain Movers Fire Ministries Int’l, Pastor Basil Princewill have been arrested by the FCT Commissioner of Police and arraigned alongside Ms Paulyn Ode, his church coordinator over charges of conspiracy, criminal impersonation, criminal intimidation, criminal force and assault. Report states that Pastor Princewill, whose church is location in Nyanya Abuja, was dragged before an Abuja Chief Magistrate Court in Karu for raping a 14-year-old girl. After taking his plea in court, Magistrate Ahmed Shuaibu granted the accused bail in the sum of N2million with two sureties in like sum. The sureties must be civil servants of no less than Grade Level 15 and must have a property in Abuja valued at not less than N5 million. Pastor Princewill will remain in custody until he meets his bail condition, while the substantive trial was shifted to a later date.

E.P Church to build GH¢600,000 chapel in memory of President Mills

Evangelical Presbyterian (E.P) Church, Mawuli Estate, is to build a chapel in memory of the late President John Evans Atta Mills.
The about GH¢600,000 complex will have an auditorium, a conference room and offices.
